South Florida Woman Shot In Face At George Floyd Protest Testifies

The South Florida woman shot in the face with a rubber bullet during a George Floyd protest in Ft. Lauderdale testifies before the House of Representatives' Oversight Subcomittee on Civil Rights and Liberties. This is what it sounded like when 34-year-old LaToya Ratlieff of Delray was hit with a rubber bullet-fracturing her eye socket and leaving her with 20 stitches. She says she was simply exercising her First Amendment right and the incident report shows no wrong doing on her part. She says still awaiting for an apology from Ft. police detective Eliezer Ramos who claims he hit her by mistake. He remains on active duty, but is under an internal affairs investigation.
