A rapper pled guilty in Miami Federal court on Tuesday to conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of crimes of violence and drug trafficking.

Rapper Pooh Shiesty, whose legal name is Lontrell D. Williams Jr, admitted to participating in the conspiracy on three occasions over the course of 11 months between July 2020 and May 2021.

First, on July 7, 2020, in Memphis, Tennessee, Williams was inside a car when an occupant of the car discharged a firearm at a gas station.

Then, on October 9, 2020, in Bay Harbor Islands, Williams and his co-conspirators arrived at a meeting to acquire marijuana, codeine, and sneakers. During the meeting, members of Williams' group brandished firearms and assaulted two victims, stealing their marijuana, codeine, and sneakers.

Finally, on May 30, 2021, Williams assaulted a victim with a firearm at a Miami strip club.

A federal judge will sentence Williams on a date to be announced.
