Louisville Routs USF Bulls

The USF Bulls (1-3) fell to the Louisville Cardinals (2-2) 41-3 on Saturday afternoon in Louisville.

A week after the Bulls played a hard fought game against the Florida Gators that came down the end before Florida escaped with the win, the Bulls did not have similar success in Louisville. The Cardinals scored two touchdowns in both the first and second quarters to build a 28-0 halftime lead.

Louisville led 31-0 before USF got a field goal early in the fourth quarter for their only points of the game. Gerry Bohanon went 9-for-17 with 62 yards while throwing two interceptions and no touchdowns. He gave way late in the game to Katravis Marsh who went 4-for-11 with 48 yards passing. All told Louisville had 542 yards of offense to just 110 for USF, including Louisville out-rushing the Bulls 283-48 on the ground.

USF looks to bounce back when they return home to host East Carolina on October 1st. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
