Federal Judge Tosses Out Hialeah Woman's Kraft Mac And Cheese Lawsuit

A federal judge in Miami-Dade county is putting an end to a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the Kraft Heinz Food Company.

Court documents show Amanda Ramirez, of Hialeah, filed a proposed $5 million class action lawsuit against Kraft Heinz Foods Company alleging the food producer’s Velveeta Shells & Cheese takes longer than advertised to prepare, specifically pointing out that “ready in 3½ minutes,” is “false and misleading.”

A Miami district judge tossed out the case saying Ramirez did not have enough standing to follow through with the five-million dollar class action lawsuit.
