The Chicago Blackhawks (16-29-5) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (26-20-3) 4-1 on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena. For the Lightning, they are now 1-4 in their last five games.
After Brayden Point scored in the first to give the Lightning an early lead, Chicago answered with four straight goals to take control of this one. Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy missed this game with an illness, while Jonas Johansson went 16-for-19 in net in the losing effort.
The Lightning will look to bounce back when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Kings is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday night at Amalie Arena.
