Governor DeSantis attacking the Republican leaders of the Florida House again today saying "stop playing petty games!"

This time he is not happy with the House budget allocation for Everglades restoration.

The Florida House has proposed $350 million for Everglades restoration, significantly less than the Governor's recommended $805 million.

The Senate agrees with the governor and has proposed $750 million for Everglades restoration.

DeSantis accuses House leadership of defying the wishes of his office and the voters. He adds the House is fighting him on property tax cuts and condo reform relief.

DeSantis says the sharp differences and public feuding are jeopardizing the prospect of a final budget agreement before the legislative deadline of May 2nd.
