The Tampa Bay Lightning (7-5-2) defeated the Las Vegas Golden Knights (7-3-3) 6-3 late Thursday night in Las Vegas. The Lightning have now won six of their last seven games.
Tampa Bay fell behind 2-0 in the fist period before rallying to tie the game 2-2 in the second period. The Lightning then erupted for four goals in the third period to take control of the game en route to a three-goal win.
The Lightning got two goals and an assist from both Nikita Kucherov and Brandon Hagel in the winning effort. Dominic James also had three points, including his first career NHL goal.
The Lightning now return home to host the Washington Capitals on Saturday night. Puck drop from Amalie Arena is scheduled for 7:00 PM between the Lightning and Capitals.
