It's English-Only At The DMV

Starting today, it's English only at the Department of Moter Vehicles. Governor Ron DeSantis says this applies to all state driver license knowledge and skills tests, no interpreters allowed. The policy shift comes after a deadly crash on Florida’s Turnpike involving a commercial truck driver who failed an English proficiency test. Opponents are crying foul as the exams used to be offered in multiple languages like Spanish, Haitian, Creole and Portuguese.
