(Orlando, FL) - The last vestiges of the Pulse Nightclub are being removed Wednesday morning in Orlando.

Crews will begin dismantling the Pulse sign at 10 a.m. which will block off access to Orange Avenue for safety reasons.

Construction workers granted the city permission to capture archival footage of the sign removal, and the city will then provide a link to the media.

A shooter swearing allegiance to ISIS shot and killed 49 people and wounded 58 at the Pulse night club in June of 2016.

The city of Orlando bought the nightclub ten years ago with plans to turn it into a memorial.
