The start of the FAU Owls football season continues to be put on hold.
This Saturday's home game against the University of South Florida has been postponed due to the coronavirus. The two schools working to reschedule the game.
Florida Atlantic head coach Willie Taggart says results of the team's latest round of COVID-19 testing were all negative, including the players who had previously tested positive. FAU had its original season opener against Minnesota canceled, then last weekend's game at Georgia Southern was postponed.
The next scheduled game is October 3rd against the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
