West Palm Beach, FL - A South Florida attorney who represented victims of child sexual abuse has been arrested on child pornography charges after being found in possession of nearly 2,000 images and videos of child pornography.

Michael T. Dolce, a South Florida attorney who represents victims of child sexual abuse, was arrested on child pornography charges by federal prosecutors on Wednesday.

Dolce was allegedly found to be in possession of nearly 2,000 images and videos of child pornography depicting girls as young as five years old.

FBI agents executed a search warrant at Dolce's West Palm Beach apartment on March 15th, where they allegedly discovered Dolce actively downloading child sexual abuse material using peer-to-peer software.

According to the federal criminal complaint, investigators found Dolce's phone unlocked, with a background image featuring a female between the ages of 16 and 25 engaged in sexual intercourse with two men.

Dolce was most recently a partner at Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll in Palm Beach Gardens, where he headed the firm’s sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and domestic abuse team.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Dolce has achieved multiple multi-million-dollar trial verdicts for his clients, as well as numerous settlements for survivors of sexual crimes, including child and adult victims, and adult survivors of child sexual abuse.

Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll have terminated Dolce's employment following the allegations.

Dolce's arrest was made as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice in 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

The 53-year-old lawyer is expected to appear in a West Palm Beach federal court on Thursday.
