The plane that crashed in Boca Raton was one of the first on the ground to help those impacted by Hurricane Dorian in 2019. That's according to loved ones of the victims in the fiery crash on Friday.

The Cessna had taken off at Boca Raton Airport and made multiple loops in the area before crashing down onto Military Trail.

Kurt Gibson with the NTSB says investigators will figure out why.

"We're going to be looking at the aircraft. We're going to be looking at the maintenance records. We're going to be going through the wreckage in detail when it gets recovered to the salvage facility."

Three generations of one family were in the plane and all lost their lives...81-year old Robert Stark, his son, 54-year old Stephen Stark and that man's daughter 17-year old Brooke Stark.

The eldest Stark described by family members as "adventurous, kind" and someone who "adored his family."

A man driving a car on Military Trail suffered non-life threatening injuries when debris from the crash set his vehicle on fire and sent it into a tree.

The NTSB and FAA are working the crash, with the NTSB in charge.
