Historic Virginia Key Beach Park celebrating its 80th Anniversary with a three-day community party. Spokeswoman Kechi Okpala says they're hosting a cake and ice cream party today with live music and games, Saturday they're doing a beach cleanup and Sunday is a poetry potluck. The area was originally founded as Miami's "Colored Only" Beach during segregation. It's now a public space listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a symbol of inclusion.
