Us Weekly reports that Jimmy Kimmel gave World Series tickets to the doctor who performed his son’s life saving heart surgery.
The Full Story:
Late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel knows how to take care of the important people in his life. According to Us Weekly, he just gave tickets to the World Series to his six-month-old son Billy’s heart surgeon. Now that’s paying it forward!
The infant was born with a heart defect, which required surgery immediately after he was born and again six months later. Kimmel was off from his show last week for that follow-up surgery, but it was postponed because of family colds.
“Officially, I was off because my son Billy was supposed to have his next heart surgery. But we had to postpone it because we all had colds,” Kimmel told his audience when he returned. “But the truth is, I was waiting in line for the new iPhone all week.”
