A Jupiter Farms man has led police to the body of a missing mother he is accused of killing.

23-year old Perrin Damron of Stuart was last seen Saturday night. Her family became concerned when she failed to pick up her young child from the child's father.

Family friend, 45-year old Eric Westergard, has been charged with first-degree murder. Martin County Sheriff's detectives went to his home and said there was evidence of something happening there, but didn't elaborate. That's when the man led them to Damron's remains in Indiantown.

A motive is unknown at this time.

Westergard was in the news back in 2018, when his kangaroo named Storm escaped from a sanctuary in Jupiter Farms, prompting a three-day search by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
