It appears no one was hurt in a small plane crash early this morning on Triangle Ranch in Myakka City.
Manatee County Sheriff's Office says the plane was found around noon upside down in the Myakka River. A search was initiated, but deputies say the pilot was able to climb out of the plane, get home, and contacted the National Transportation Safety Board, which is now investigating.
No word yet on exactly what happened.
