The countdown to the opening of Universal Orlando Resort's newest theme park has officially begun. Put it on your calendar. Universal Orlando announced Thursday that Universal Epic Universe will open May 22nd.
Select multi-day tickets and vacation packages will go on sale Tuesday with Universal Orlando annual passholders being able to buy single-day tickets starting Thursday.
Epic Universe will include five themed worlds for guests to explore: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon- Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.
The park will be anchored by Universal Helios Grand Hotel- a 500 room Loews Hotel that will feature its own dedicated entrance into Epic Universe for hotel guests.
Universal says Epic Universe will bring to life extraordinary adventures that go beyond guests' wildest imaginations.
"This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we're thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year," Universal Orlando Resort President and COO Karen Irwin said.
