Florida's FAFO Audit Reveals Wasteful Spending In Local Governments

Florida's Chief Financial Officer continues the push for property tax reform as he shows results of his FAFO audit. CFO Blaise Ingoglia says an audit of fourteen local governments shows nearly 2 billion in wasteful spending in just one year alone. Excessive spending in Broward tallied 189 million, in Miami-Dade 302 million. Palm Beach County gets the dubious distinction of having the worst ranking in the audit at 344 million.
