President Trump has fired U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. This comes after Bondi faced criticism over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Bondi was subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee over the issue with her scheduled to be deposed on April 14th.
This marks the second cabinet member Trump has fired in his second term. Bondi will be replaced by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on an interim basis.
