MIAMI (June 30, 2026) — iHeartMedia Miami is partnering with Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to amplify a growing humanitarian response effort led by Miami-Dade County, using its radio and digital platforms to drive donations during a focused campaign TODAY, for victims of the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.

The collaboration builds on a countywide aid initiative with GEM. On Tuesday June 30, iHeartMedia Miami is broadcasting appeals across its South Florida stations, encouraging listeners to contribute funds and essential supplies to support families affected by the disaster.

The earthquakes have devastated communities across Venezuela, damaging infrastructure, displacing residents, and worsening an already fragile humanitarian situation. Miami-Dade leaders say the local response reflects the region’s deep ties to Venezuela and longstanding commitment to international relief.

“Powerful earthquakes have severely impacted communities throughout Venezuela,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Miami-Dade County stands united with our Venezuelan community, and we are committed to supporting rapid relief and long-term recovery.”

By leveraging its wide audience reach, iHeartMedia Miami aims to accelerate donations and broaden awareness of the ongoing needs. On-air personalities are expected to share updates, highlight the impact of contributions, and direct listeners to donation channels throughout the day. Participating stations include Tu 94.9, Magic 93.9, Y100.7, 103.5 The Beat, Big 105.9, NewsRadio 610, WIOD, and Fox Sports 940.
