Hurricane experts predicting a “somewhat below-average” 2026 Atlantic hurricane season. Colorado State University's Phil Klotzbach says you can thank El Nino for that. He's predicting a total of thirteen named storms, six hurricanes, with two of those being major Category 3 storms or higher. An average hurricane season sees fourteen named storms and seven canes. The season runs June First through November 30th.
