The state of Florida is cracking down on Medicaid fraud and other public assistance crimes. Attorney General James Uthmeier is in Tampa today saying Florida is not Minnesota, so there will be zero tolerance for anyone caught robbing state coffers. He says anyone convicted of fraud, waste or abuse will be prosecuted to the fullest. Last year, Florida recovered 800 million from this type of crime.
