According to the Trib, the Standard's editor-in-chief, Hialeah mom Sofia Delgado, does not exist.
Trib reporter Kate Payne alleges the South Florida Standard's “local journalists” who were actually created by AI with fake headshots and fabricated biographies.
Florida Politics website publisher Peter Schorsch says his content was also lifted and recycled through AI calling it "plAIgiarism."
Generally, plagiarism is not illegal, but it could infringe on copyright, trademark, or contractual rights.
