South Florida School Employee Charged With Voyeurism at Home Depot

Lauderdale Lakes, FL - A man's been charged with voyeurism after attempting to record a woman in a South Florida Home Depot bathroom.

19-year-old Jeremiah Hill, an employee at Lauderdale Lakes Middle School, was taken into custody by the Broward County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

According to police, a woman saw Hill outside the women's restroom before entering.

Hill then followed the woman inside the restroom and entered the stall adjacent to the one she was using.

The woman recognized Hill's sneakers and jeans, which she had seen just before entering the bathroom, before witnessing a black cellphone poking over the top of the bathroom stall in an apparent attempt to record her as she used the toilet.

The woman yelled at Hill to stop and leave, to which he responded that he "wasn't feeling well" and "going to throw up."

When police arrived, the victim identified Hill, who was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, burglary, grand theft, using a false identity, and resisting arrest at the time of his arrest for voyeurism.

Local 10 News contacted the Broward school district to inquire about Hill's employment status. No details have been provided so far.
